                                        LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS

 VIRTUAL OFFICE

Welcome.

Our labor law practice includes representing labor unions in all aspects of their operations from the initial filing of a Representation Petition to the prosecution of Unfair Labor Practices before the National Labor Relations Board and the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission. We actively participate in the negotiations process leading to both first time labor contracts and renewed labor contracts for the Union we represent. We also handle union contract disputes at arbitration hearings and pursue employee's rights if they have been treated differently or terminated because they have supported a union.

All Aspects of Union Representation

We assist unions in all aspects of the collective bargaining process. We have negotiated numerous Union contracts and won countless Union grievances, interest arbitration proceedings, prohibited practices and unfair labor practices.  You need a firm like ours with a long history of union representation and excellent relationships with NLRB and MLRC personnel.

In addition to assisting unions in the collective bargaining process, we provide counsel and representation to unions in matters involving:

  • Organizing drives
  • Election petitions
  • Grievance arbitration
  • Interest arbitration
  • Internal Union Governance Issues
  • Collective bargaining
  • Bargaining unit clarification
  • Merger & affiliation proceedings
  • Injunctions and temporary restraining orders
  • Severance and Accretion petitions

Organizing a Union

Many employees do not realize that they have the legal ability to form employee organizations and be recognized as Unions, even if they do not affiliate with national Unions.  We will assist you with organizing union drives.
